The entire fire hose reel offered by BjFire Systems Ltd is listed by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., as meeting their standard UL 246, latest edition. We consistently test our hose reel in full compliance with their stringent requirements. Our facilities are subject to periodic inspections to ensure we are in compliance with their standards.
The hose reels are located such that when the user fails to fight the fire, and even if visibility is greatly impaired, he can hold on the hose and follow the path to go back to the location of the hose reel and escape into corridors / protected lobbies / staircases, without being trapped by the heat / smoke of the fire. If the temperature is too high, he can crawl on the floor and spray the water of the hose reel on to himself, gaining a high chance of not being injured.
